paper bag envelope

I needed a square envelope for a sympthay card but couldn't find one; I did however have a paper bag. I just cut the bottom of the bag off, used a paper punch, threaded some ribbon through the holes and seal with a sticker. Decorate the front so it doesn't look blah ;)

Perler bead gift tags (or ornaments!)

 

We like to use these "melty beads" for gift tags, but they could also be a great ornament for kids to make and give away as gifts. Hours of fun!

 

 

 

 

Tomato Soup + Pirates booty! So yummy on this cold day!!

Tomato Basil Soup

2 medium onions
2 tsp minced garlic
2 T butter
2 tsp chopped parsley
2tsp chopped basil
1 1/2 cup chicken broth
28 oz can of diced tomatoes
28 oz can tomato soup
2 1/2 cup heavy cream or whole milk

Saute onions and garlic in melted butter for 3-4 min. Mix in parsley and basil; saute an additional minute. Pour in chicken broth and diced tomatoes; simmer 20-25 min. Add tomato soup and cream, (or milk); simmer-Do not boil. add salt and peper to taste.
Top with Pirates Booty for an extra tasty treat! :) Enjoy!
